UPDATES
I wanted to mention a few health updates of people in our circuit. My mother, Thomasina Webber, had surgery last week and came through AOK. Her doctor is very encouraged regarding her post-operation results. For the moment, she has been given a clean bill of health regarding any cancer in her system.
Additionally, Mrs. Sandy Taber has been given the AOK from her medical advisors to go back home to New Mexico. She and her husband, Gene, plan to leave this coming Sunday. What started out as a visit became a year long stay due to the cancerous condition that Sandy experienced. Needless to say, they are ready to go home and enjoy their house, daughter and grandchildren. We will miss them.
Susan & I look forward to being in San Diego this Sabbath. I hope to bring a message focusing on prophecy. I will be leaving for Boston next Thursday (by myself) for the World News and Prophecy Seminar and look forward to returning on Sunday.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
This coming Sunday is November 11th. As tradition would have it: It was 89 years ago on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month that the guns went quiet on the Western Front of the Great War---a war that was hoped upon to be "The War to End all Wars." But it was only a beginning to the bloodiest century in human history. We continue to live with some of the post-war results of that conflict down to our day in the form of Iraq----a part of the old Ottoman Empire that was dismantled by the victors of that conflict. War never leaves a world, nation, or individuals where it found them--all changes and often affects many a generation to come.
As Christians we fervently look forward to a world in which there will truly be no more war. It will be more than a hope, but a reality. Isaiah 9:4 reveals to us--.."They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore."
Somthing to think about. Something to live for! Until that day----
A Spiritually Rewarding and Prosperous Sabbath to each of you,
Robin and Susan
